| Description: Established in 1934, by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of NY, to find employment for unemployed men and women. F·E·G·S has evolved to become the largest and most diversified private, not-for-profit health related and human service organization in the United States. With operations in over 258 facilities, residences, and off-site locations, F·E·G·S has served more than two million people since its inception. Services are delivered in the areas of Employment & Training, Education & Youth, Career Development, Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, Residential, Rehabilitation, Family Services and Homecare. F·E·G·S operates programs throughout the metropolitan New York area, and provides consultation and technical assistance to government, organizations, and businesses throughout the United States and abroad. |
