The Jackson Heights-Elmhurst Kehillah, Inc. is a non-profit agency founded in 1975 The Kehillah is a Jewish community council comprised of 13 organizations and synagogues. As members of the city’s most culturally diverse communities, the Kehillah is committed to building bridges with our neighbors. The Kehillah is always open to anyone who needs a helping hand. The agency offers a full range of social, educational and cultural services to our large immigrant, elderly, poor and near poor populations. Our dedicated, devoted and hard-working staff is bi-lingual in Russian and Spanish. The Kehillah’s programs are designed to meet the needs of our unique community. They include:
