Description:
The FJCC is a non-profit agency composed of area synagogues and other Jewish organizations providing ESOL and civics classes, advocacy, Jewish and multicultural programs and counseling services/groups along with several other community based agencies including the QCS, a non-profit interfaith mental health and pastoral counseling agency with various sites around Northern Queens offering individual, couple, family and group therapy. The staff is multicultural and multilingual including Chinese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Current groups being offered are stress and trauma, parenting skills, story sharing, youth computer training and cultural adaptation. Anyone who wish to visit needs to call first for an appointment since office hours vary.
